Location:

Conducting site visits to collaborate with diverse clients or their representatives at their facilities for sales estimates and technology-driven services.

A portion of the workweek will be required in the office for administrative tasks such as preparing sales estimates, processing client agreements, and other sales support activities.

Position Overview:
We are in search of a proactive and results-oriented Sales Engineer specializing in security solutions. The ideal candidate will utilize their practical experience to enhance sales of innovative technology offerings. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, client relationship management, and a successful sales history.

As a Sales Engineer, you will be instrumental in identifying and pursuing new business prospects, fostering client relationships, advocating for the adoption of our advanced technology offerings, and driving revenue growth.


Compensation Range:
$80,000 - $100,000 annually based on a combination of experience and education, plus commissions.

Key Responsibilities:
Leverage technical knowledge to comprehend client needs and propose suitable solutions.
Clearly articulate the technical features and advantages of products or services to prospective clients.
Conduct product demonstrations to showcase essential features and benefits of potential solutions.
Prepare comprehensive sales proposals that highlight the technical aspects and value of our products or services.
Collaborate closely with the sales support team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of proposals.
Act as the primary liaison for clients, addressing their inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.

Serve as the main point of contact for technical staff to guide them through project initiation.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients through effective communication, ensuring their accounts are well-managed.

Perform light programming and troubleshooting for customer systems in collaboration with the Remote Services team.

Essential Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of installation experience in the security and CCTV sector.

Experience with the following product lines is highly advantageous:
Avigilon access control and CCTV
Lenel OnGuard
Hanwha Wisenet
Digital Watchdog
Turing

Proficient understanding of networks and networking, including:
Network configuration.
Accessing routers and port forwarding.
Installation and configuration of applications on smart devices.

Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational and priority management abilities.

Work Environment:
Some tasks are performed in an office setting and various client locations for on-site sales visits.
Employees may be required to lift items up to 50 lbs.
Standard business hours are 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). Sales team members may need to engage with potential clients outside of regular business hours.

Equipment:
Ability to operate general office equipment.
Ability to utilize a laptop on remote sites for job responsibilities.
Ability to use basic hand tools.
