Responsibilities

As a technician, you will:

  • Perform work as specified on repair orders efficiently, following dealership and manufacturer policies.
  • Test-drive vehicles and assess components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required.
  • Provide estimates for time needed for additional repairs.
  • Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience as a Service Technician
  • High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required
  • B-level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair skills
  • Strong dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Exceptional customer service skills and basic computer proficiency
  • Positive and friendly attitude with a willingness to learn and improve
  • A collaborative teammate who works well with others
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies, repair procedures, and specifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
