**Job Summary**
Action Nissan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Body Shop Manager to lead our body shop team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to drive business growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase productivity.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Establish and maintain a system to accurately forecast body shop business demand
• Staff and schedule body shop staff to meet customer demand
• Direct retail marketing efforts to grow demand using pricing, merchandising, and customer input
• Establish and maintain labor standards to optimize productivity and serve customer needs
• Manage systems to consistently assure positive customer perceptions of experience
• Manage advisors/estimators to ensure effective demonstration of telephone skills, problem-solving skills, active listening skills, and relationship building
• Manage technicians to ensure adequate product knowledge, problem-solving skills, repair techniques, and mechanics
• Establish and manage systems and procedures for cost-effective preparation for the sale of new and used cars
• Achieve customer satisfaction goals measured by manufacturer surveys
• Manage staff for optimum team productivity and job satisfaction
• Establish and maintain effective internal communications within the body shop team
• Manage team in ways that minimize turnover and encourage professional growth
• Establish and maintain department safety and security systems that minimize work loss injuries and financial losses
• Establish and maintain cleanliness and maintenance procedures that create a positive and professional image of the Department, measured by customer surveys and company audits
• Establish and manage continuous improvement efforts that result in the Department consistently achieving high levels of accuracy in writing/estimating, repairs and billing
**Requirements**
• Valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
• Authorized to work in the United States
