- Efficiently perform tasks outlined in the repair order, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Conduct test drives and assess vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required, providing time estimates for further repairs.
- Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
- Preferred 2+ years of experience as a Service Technician
- High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification is mandatory
- B-level qualifications, including skills in Diagnostics, Electrical, and Engine Repair
- Strong dexterity, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Exceptional customer service skills and basic computer proficiency
- A positive and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to learn and improve
- A collaborative team player who works well with others
- Ability to adapt to new technologies, repair methods, and specifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
