Our client, a fully integrated operator in the licensed cannabis sector, is seeking a Senior Vice President of Retail Operations to enhance and expand the Pennsylvania Retail Team. This role is pivotal in supporting the company's ambitious growth initiatives by developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies.
The position requires significant travel to various dispensary locations, approximately 50% of the time, with the remaining time spent collaborating with leadership in the office.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive sales leadership experience and a proven track record of success within the Cannabis Retail industry, including multiple successful store openings in their respective region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and develop the retail team, defining strategic objectives and project plans to implement key initiatives.
  • Oversee the workforce management team to enhance efficiencies in scheduling, payroll forecasting, reporting, and the administration of incentive programs.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting to analyze store incentive programs, recommending adjustments to drive revenue growth and improve margins.
  • Supervise regional field operations managers to ensure compliance with back-of-house standards through regular store audits and visits.
  • Manage the processes of store openings, expansions, relocations, and closures to ensure consistent execution across the board.
  • Direct the Delivery team to ensure successful expansion and execution of delivery services.
  • Work closely with marketing and communications to refine omni-channel strategies, ensuring a seamless customer experience across both online and physical stores.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry initiatives to foster innovation and efficiency within retail locations.
  • Partner with Human Resources to enhance training tools and the onboarding process for new hires, improving customer service and store productivity.
  • Act as the primary liaison between executive management and store leaders, ensuring timely and consistent communication.
  • Drive operational excellence by establishing consistent and efficient back-of-house standards across all retail locations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 10+ years of experience in multi-unit retail management.
  • Experience in cannabis management is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects with strict deadlines.
  • Must be a collaborative team player capable of nurturing and developing retail management talent.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and strength in building internal partnerships.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and achieve long-term goals.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
COMPENSATION: $200,000 plus benefits and an attractive bonus structure.
