Position Overview

Reports to: President & CEO

Location: Greenfield (onsite)

Summary:

The individual in this role will cultivate and promote a customer-centric environment while spearheading the expansion and profitability of the residential and consumer lending division. This position will oversee and direct lending operations in alignment with the strategic objectives, culture, and core values of the Bank, serving as a visionary and strategist for the senior management team. Collaboration with Department Managers in Deposits, Commercial Lending, Operations, and Trust will be essential to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate as a member of the Senior Management Team.
  • Maintain a strategic outlook on residential and consumer loan offerings and distribution methods.
  • Provide leadership to ensure departmental lending targets are achieved while upholding quality standards and compliance regulations.
  • Develop and enforce lending policies and procedures that comply with regulatory standards.
  • Offer insights to ALCO and senior management regarding loan pricing strategies.
  • Manage the Secondary Market pipeline to optimize income through timely loan sales.
  • Authorize residential and consumer loans in accordance with applicable regulations and established protocols.
  • Ensure that strategic objectives for loans and deposits are clearly communicated and executed by lending staff.
  • Monitor and report on lending activities and performance metrics.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities that align with the Bank's strategic vision.
  • Enhance profitability by making informed decisions based on competitor and market analysis.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to create detailed product specifications and market entry strategies.
  • Ensure effective marketing and promotional planning through the Marketing Department.
  • Prepare a budget for executive management approval and manage resources within the approved guidelines.
  • Participate in the Watch Loan Committee regarding the management of residential and consumer assets acquired through loan defaults.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Bank's vision and overall Strategic Plan.
  • Foster and uphold the organizational culture, values, and reputation across all markets and with all stakeholders.
  • Represent the Bank in community and professional organizations as authorized by the supervisor.
  • Engage in various bank-wide committees and provide recommendations.
  • Make appropriate referrals to relevant departments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the President.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Residential Lending.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Experience in budgeting and strategic planning.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
