Job Overview

Reports To: First Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Commercial Banking Operations Specialist provides high-level administrative assistance to the Commercial Banking Team. This role involves handling sensitive information and requires a high degree of discretion, judgment, and professionalism. The primary responsibilities include managing the Bank's Commercial Loan Pipeline Management Software (Salesforce nCino) and overseeing the administration of Commercial Appraisal and Environmental due diligence processes. Building and maintaining effective working relationships with all members of the Commercial Banking Team is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support various functions required by the Commercial Banking Lending Staff.
  • Input data into the Commercial Banking CRM (Salesforce nCino) and organize supporting documentation for Commercial Loan applications.
  • Oversee the workflow of Appraisal and Environmental reporting, including ordering and reviewing, while maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Credit Officer and Commercial Portfolio Manager to create and maintain necessary reports.
  • Act as a representative of the Commercial Banking Department by managing correspondence, phone, and email communications.
  • Take minutes at Committee Meetings or other official gatherings as required.
  • Foster positive customer relations and recommend improvements to enhance the customer experience.
  • Assist the Commercial Banking Team with referrals to other business lines within the organization.
  • Adhere to Bank Policies and Procedures while maintaining confidentiality of customer and corporate non-public information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred: College Degree or relevant Banking Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and task management abilities.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Capable of handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Valid US Driver's license required with the ability to travel freely.
