The successful candidate will possess a robust understanding of Microsoft technologies, Windows OS, endpoint management, security protocols, MS Active Directory, hardware diagnostics, and helpdesk operations. This position is essential for the upkeep and support of endpoint devices, unified communication systems, cloud applications, and security measures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary contact for IT-related inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective assistance.
  • Document and monitor support requests, solutions, and system modifications in accordance with departmental objectives.
  • Deliver timely technical support to users, confirming that hardware and software function optimally.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software, including computers, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 applications, including Office, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to M365 applications, cloud services, and auction-management software.
  • Work collaboratively with network administrators and cloud specialists to maintain and troubleshoot network, Wi-Fi, and VOIP systems, ensuring seamless connectivity.
  • Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats.
  • Address technical challenges in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance user experience and improve operational workflows.
  • Conduct training sessions for users on software applications and best practices.
  • Develop and revise documentation for IT processes and procedures.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management or required by the role.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in IT Helpdesk support.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, services, and administration.
  • Strong grasp of on-site technical support and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with auction industry software and technology is advantageous.
  • Ability to collaborate with third-party IT and helpdesk support contractors to fulfill responsibilities.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • A valid driver's license and an insurable driving record for occasional travel are required.
