Job Summary

This role will lead a talented group of individuals to elevate the Control Systems and Cyber Services program through innovation and thought leadership. As a Control Systems Planning and Design Technical Director, you'll drive technical excellence and strategy for design and planning services within the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build a best-in-class practice by driving a community of practice and partnering with key stakeholders to identify and develop a network of Technical Experts/Subject Matter Experts.
  • Develop and implement a mentoring strategy for technical expertise and communication strategies to tie the global community of professionals together for knowledge sharing.
  • Drive quality throughout the program by ensuring quality control reviews are performed and lead quality initiatives in support of a strong quality-oriented culture.
  • Partner with HDR's internal business group stakeholders to drive successful project implementation by collaborating and communicating effectively.
  • Support project pursuits, including development of staffing assignments, qualifications, project approach, and interview in collaboration with BG stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in related field.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (North America) or Chartered Engineer (EMEA/APAC).
  • Significant cross-sector control systems lifecycle experience, including master planning, assessments, and design.
  • History of exceptional leadership performance and performance on project delivery.
  • Recognized technical expert within the local, national, global industry.
