Job Summary

Valmont Industries is seeking a skilled IT Programmer Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining technical systems and programs that enable our businesses to perform at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement technical systems and programs to support business operations
  • Collaborate with business analysts, senior programmer analysts, and business users to solve complex business problems
  • Design and develop software solutions using the latest technologies
  • Participate in the software development life cycle (SDLC) process and recommend opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with the global IT organization to deliver technical solutions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional programming experience in Microsoft .NET technologies
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented development methodology
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS
  • Experience with Azure development, including Azure Logic App, Functions App, DevOps, and API Management
  • Experience with Angular development, including building responsive web applications using Angular CLI and working with TypeScript and RxJS
  • Experience with IIS, Tableau server, Jira servers
