Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and personable individual to join our Insurance Sales team at The Avers Agency. This role is ideal for those looking for a new opportunity with significant potential for professional development. The perfect candidate for our entry-level insurance consultant position will possess strong communication skills essential for fostering insurance sales with prospective and existing clients.

Compensation Structure:
$80,000 at Plan Commission

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize our established sales framework in the field, as outlined during training sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and organizational tools to effectively track progress towards monthly sales objectives.
  • Employ marketing techniques, including cold outreach and networking, to engage potential clients while also managing a portfolio of existing clients.
  • Conduct consultations with new and prospective clients, attentively assessing their unique situations to recommend the most suitable insurance policies.
  • Stay informed about developments in the insurance sector that may impact clients within your portfolio.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in direct sales, external sales, leadership roles, or business-to-business sales is preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage your time.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within your career.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet targets.
  • Possession of an active insurance license or the commitment to obtain one upon hiring.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and negotiation skills.
