Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain comprehensive firewall governance processes and procedures.
- Conduct thorough reviews and audits of existing firewall rules to identify and rectify non-compliance issues.
- Collaborate with Business Information Security Officers (BISOs) and application teams to ensure alignment with security requirements.
- Provide expert consultancy to internal teams on network connections and application integrations.
- Design and implement governance frameworks for cloud segmentation policies, CDN policies, store, distribution center, HQ, and data center segmentation policies.
- Enhance automation tools and processes for the review, approval, and ongoing segmentation testing of firewall policies against standard security guidelines.
- Engage in proactive risk assessment and mitigation strategies to safeguard all network segments.
- 4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in network security, with a strong focus on firewall management and compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of compliance frameworks including PCI, SOX, and GLBA.
- Proven experience in developing and managing governance policies for large-scale networks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
- Experience with Google Cloud, CDN Fastly, Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Iptables firewall products.
- Prior experience in a Fortune 50 retail environment.
- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages like Python.
