Job Title: Lead Engineer - Network Security Firewall

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join our Network Security team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for creating, owning, and driving architectural changes to accelerate feature development and improve the quality of service. You'll work closely with our Business Information Security Officers (BISOs) and application teams to ensure alignment with security requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert consultancy to internal teams on network connections and application integrations.
  • Design and implement governance frameworks for cloud segmentation policies, CDN policies, store, distribution center, HQ, and data center segmentation policies.
  • Enhance automation tools and processes for the review, approval, and ongoing segmentation testing of firewall policies against standard security guidelines.
  • Engage in proactive risk assessment and mitigation strategies to safeguard all network segments.
  • Document all policy changes and maintain clear audit trails for compliance verification.
Requirements:
  • 4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in network security, with a strong focus on firewall management and compliance.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing governance policies for large-scale networks.
  • Experience with Google Cloud, CDN Fastly, Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Iptables firewall products.
  • Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages like Python.
