Lead Engineer

Target is seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to join our Network Security team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating, owning, and driving architectural changes to accelerate feature development or improve the quality of service.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain comprehensive firewall governance processes and procedures.
- Conduct thorough reviews and audits of existing firewall rules to identify and rectify non-compliance issues.
- Collaborate with Business Information Security Officers (BISOs) and application teams to ensure alignment with security requirements.
- Provide expert consultancy to internal teams on network connections and application integrations.
- Design and implement governance frameworks for cloud segmentation policies, CDN policies, store, distribution center, HQ, and data center segmentation policies.
- Enhance automation tools and processes for the review, approval, and ongoing segmentation testing of firewall policies against standard security guidelines.
- Engage in proactive risk assessment and mitigation strategies to safeguard all network segments.
- Document all policy changes and maintain clear audit trails for compliance verification.
We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Engineer with a strong background in network security, firewall management, and compliance. You should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in network security, with a strong focus on firewall management and compliance.
You should have in-depth knowledge of compliance frameworks, including PCI, SOX, and GLBA. You should also have proven experience in developing and managing governance policies for large-scale networks.
Preferred qualifications include certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar, as well as experience with Google Cloud, CDN Fastly, Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Iptables firewall products.
