Truss Sales Consultant

TRUSS SALES CONSULTANT
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Drive and secure Truss Sales with both new and existing clientele to enhance organizational profitability. This role offers a "PAY FOR PERFORMANCE" structure with limitless earning opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Actively promote, sell, and acquire new accounts.
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate products.
- Provide service to existing accounts with tailored products, timely information, and support.
- Aid in identifying products that best meet customer requirements.
- Prepare, coordinate, and convey pricing quotes, sales conditions, delivery timelines, and service commitments to clients and contractors.
- Estimate materials based on blueprints supplied by clients or contractors.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues.
- Support accounts receivable collection efforts.
- Participate in training sessions as necessary.
- Undertake additional assigned duties and responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS:
Truss sales consultants must:
- Successfully complete a drug, alcohol, background screening, and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
- Be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- Interpret written, oral, and diagrammatic instructions.
- Perform calculations involving figures and amounts (e.g., discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages).
- Proficiently use Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Learn and effectively utilize company-specific software.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Truss sales consultants:
- Operate in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Occasionally lift or move objects weighing up to 100 pounds, and engage in standing and walking activities.
- Regularly sit, use hands, reach with arms and hands, and engage in verbal communication.
