Service Desk Support Specialist

**Job Summary**
This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Service Desk environment. As a Service Desk Specialist I, you will be responsible for providing technical support to company staff, ensuring they have the necessary IT equipment and resources to perform their duties efficiently. You will also be responsible for monitoring the ticketing system to ensure timely resolution of problems and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide technical support to company staff, including troubleshooting and resolving basic IT issues
* Ensure proper onboarding of new employees, including setting up computer and IT equipment
* Monitor the ticketing system to ensure timely resolution of problems
* Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills
**Requirements**
* Associate's degree in technology or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
* Basic understanding of computers and operating systems
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
* A+, Network+, Security+ or similar certifications are preferred but not required
