Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead our US Programs team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and expansion of our Global G.L.O.W./Global Girls Glow programs across the US.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the recruitment and management of community-based organizations (CBOs) participating in our Native American Initiative pilot.
  • Support the successful implementation of the pilot program, including supporting the incorporation of elements of tribal knowledge and traditions into the curricula.
  • Coordinate mentor training and provide ongoing support to participating CBOs.
  • Collaborate with our Monitoring, Learning and Evaluation team to ensure effective pilot evaluation and share progress with Global G.L.O.W./Global Girls Glow leadership and the grant-making organization.
  • Manage a partner portfolio of US programs, ensuring strategic goals are met and supporting partners in program implementation.
  • Conduct monthly virtual meetings with partners, document calls, track reporting and budgets, and provide training as needed.
  • Support the expansion of programming at partner sites based on girls' needs and partners' capacity.
  • Utilize data-driven decision-making to adapt and improve program strategies based on monitoring and evaluation and feedback.
  • Lead strategic planning efforts for the improvement and growth of US programs, ensuring alignment with Global G.L.O.W./Global Girls Glows mission.
  • Manage grant reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submission of reports.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and manage potential risks associated with program implementation.
  • Oversee US program staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful program implementation.
  • Train and prepare supervisees to support mentors in implementing curriculum based on the unique needs of their communities.
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and in all program activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, community leaders, and partner organizations.
  • Identify and pilot new opportunities for program development or expansion, exploring innovative approaches to achieving program goals.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on program progress and collaborate to align goals and expectations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in nonprofit program management, specifically working with adolescent youth (especially girls)
  • 5+ years of managerial experience, including direct supervision of staff
  • Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Education, Nonprofit Management, Public Health, or a related field from an accredited college or university required; a Masters degree is strongly preferred
  • Affiliation with, or 3+ years of extensive experience working with, a Native, Tribal, or Indigenous community in the United States is strongly preferred

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range: $65,000-$70,000
  • Full-time exempt position, 40 hours a week
  • Reports to: Senior Director of Programs
  • Travel: Approximately up to 20% of total time
