OBJECTIVE


Oversees field service personnel in resolving product-related issues at client locations, ensuring that customer concerns regarding the quality and dependability of company offerings are addressed in an efficient and cost-effective manner.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directs and supervises Field Service Representatives, providing leadership and guidance, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and reviewing work accuracy. Offers training to less experienced team members and may contribute to performance evaluations.
  • Assesses the condition of company products at client sites throughout various construction phases, based on customer feedback, and reports findings to management.
  • Suggests repair or replacement of defective components as necessary and assists field service personnel in resolving complex challenges.
  • Facilitates negotiations and approvals for third-party repairs or adjustments, ensuring completed work meets quality standards.
  • Provides on-the-job training to members of the field services team.
  • Efficiently plans and organizes own workload while overseeing the Field Service team to achieve daily, weekly, and project-related productivity objectives.
  • Occasionally performs duties similar to those of a Field Service Representative.
  • Adheres to all safety protocols to prevent injuries to self and colleagues; participates in regular safety meetings and may recommend improvements to safety practices.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

SUPERVISORY ROLE
Manages assigned personnel on-site to ensure effective resolution of customer complaints related to product quality and reliability.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To excel in this role, an individual must successfully fulfill each essential duty. The qualifications listed below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required.


A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required, along with five (5) years of installation or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Completion of Truss Technician Training Levels I and II certification is required.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of company products, production methods, and quality standards
  • Familiarity with product pricing, discount structures, and estimating guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to supervise and enhance productivity through team collaboration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in business mathematics
