About the Role

A Head for Profits is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resource Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our employees and management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Onboarding: Assist new hires with enrollment into our HRIS system, Paycom, and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Payroll Administration: Assist with essential payroll functions, including checking hourly employee hours, accounting for holiday pay, and processing deductions for uniforms.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist with FSA, FMLA, and 401k enrollment and questions, as well as provide payroll reporting to the accounting department.
  • Employee Termination: Terminate employees in our HRIS system.
  • HRIS Maintenance: Reconcile invoices from Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and communicate any issues with the HR department.
Requirements
  • Education: High school or Associate's degree.
  • Experience: Two years' experience in HR functions preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Gmail, MS Office, and HR software programs necessary.
  • Language Skills: Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) with both internal and external customers.
