Position Overview:

We are looking for a Product Sales Specialist who will play a crucial role in the sales and support of our Walk-In room products. This position emphasizes collaboration with Sales Engineering and the alignment of technical specifications to facilitate strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage and prioritize the sales opportunity pipeline.
  • Maintain internal departmental reporting by updating quotes, budgets, and pipeline projects.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Estimating and Application Sales Engineering, to meet customer requirements.
  • Support the Director of Process Development and Director of Business Strategy in refining tasks and strategies related to the product portfolio.
  • Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for seamless operations.
  • Participate in product training and technical development initiatives.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets while establishing personal sales objectives.
  • Evaluate bid documents and collaborate with stakeholders to create comprehensive proposals.
  • Engage with the Sales Director and Application Engineering to devise optimal strategies.
  • Work closely with the Application Director on complex technical projects to enhance sales strategies.
  • Present client proposals and take responsibility for closing sales.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's sales strategy, focusing on new market identification.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring effective communication with decision-makers.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to gather insights on market trends.
  • Stay informed about market dynamics, economic indicators, and competitor activities.
  • Enhance professional knowledge through workshops and networking opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in an Engineering or Technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design.
  • At least 3 years of experience in selling engineered solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in construction design is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with electrical and refrigeration systems is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret architectural drawings.
  • Self-scheduling and workload estimation skills are essential.
  • Willingness to travel for site visits as required.
  • Strong leadership and development capabilities.
  • Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
  • Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving at both tactical and strategic levels.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships across various organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer relations knowledge.
