Position Overview

Environmental Specialties is looking for a Product Sales Specialist responsible for the sales and support of our Walk-In room products. This role emphasizes collaboration with Sales Engineering and technical specifications to enhance strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage and prioritize the sales opportunity pipeline.
  • Update internal departmental reports, including quotes, budgets, and pipeline projects.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Estimating and Application Sales Engineering, to meet customer requirements.
  • Support the Director of Process Development and Director of Business Strategy in refining tasks and business strategies related to the product portfolio.
  • Ensure adherence to current Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all sales-related duties.
  • Participate in product training and technical development initiatives.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets while establishing personal sales objectives.
  • Evaluate bid documents and collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive proposals.
  • Work closely with the Sales Director and Application Engineering to strategize effectively.
  • Engage with the Application Director on complex technical projects to enhance selling strategies.
  • Schedule and present client proposals, taking responsibility for closing sales.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's sales strategy, identifying new markets and clients.
  • Network and cultivate new client relationships while maintaining existing ones.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to gather insights on market trends and client needs.
  • Stay informed about market supply and demand, trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of mechanical design experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in selling engineered solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook).
  • Experience in construction design is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with electrical and refrigeration systems is preferred.
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Strong self-scheduling and workload estimation skills.
  • Willingness to travel for site visits as needed.
  • Demonstrated leadership and development skills.
  • Integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and deliver timely results.
  • Strong analytical skills for data monitoring and problem-solving.
  • Ability to build positive relationships across various levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of customer relations.
