Position Overview:

In this role, you will spearhead teams in the development of advanced water and wastewater treatment systems, including water and sewer infrastructure, pipelines, pump stations, and remediation projects. Your engineering designs will range from moderate to high complexity, ensuring they align with client specifications and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the review of preliminary designs and reports to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Conduct site evaluations and assessments to confirm that designs meet location-specific criteria, making necessary updates to design parameters.
  • Perform water quality assessments and modeling, contributing to the firm’s Technical Knowledge Management by producing technical documentation and white papers.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop proposals in response to client requests for proposals (RFPs), ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Engage with current and prospective clients to discuss their design needs and enhance the visibility of the firm’s services at industry events.
  • Act as a liaison for external clients and industry contacts, providing technical clarification and updates to project management as required.
  • Offer mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering their professional development and growth within the organization.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally as required by project demands.
