Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Product Sales Specialist who will play a crucial role in driving sales and providing support for our specialized Walk-In room products. This position requires a strategic approach to business development, working closely with Sales Engineering and technical teams to ensure alignment with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage and prioritize the sales opportunity pipeline to maximize efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate internal reporting by updating quotes, budgets, and project statuses.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Estimating and Application Sales Engineering, to meet client requirements.
  • Support the Director of Process Development and Director of Business Strategy in refining strategic initiatives.
  • Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure seamless operations.
  • Participate in product training and technical development initiatives.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets while setting personal sales objectives.
  • Analyze bid documents and collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive proposals.
  • Work closely with the Sales Director and Application Engineering to devise effective strategies.
  • Engage with the Application Director on complex technical projects to enhance selling strategies.
  • Present client proposals and take responsibility for closing sales.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the company’s sales strategy, focusing on market expansion.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships while networking within the industry.
  • Attend industry events to gather insights on market trends and client needs.
  • Stay informed about market dynamics, including supply and demand and competitor activities.
  • Enhance professional knowledge through workshops and networking opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design.
  • 3+ years of experience in selling engineered solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience in construction design is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with electrical and refrigeration systems is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret architectural drawings.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel for site visits as needed.
  • Strong leadership and development skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
  • Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving at both tactical and strategic levels.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships across various organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer relations expertise.
