Job Overview

The Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in assisting clients by providing comprehensive information about our offerings, addressing inquiries, processing orders, and utilizing various software tools for efficient service delivery. This position involves collaboration with internal teams, including sales, service, procurement, and logistics, to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring client needs are met or exceeded.
  2. Accurately input orders into the system, maintaining clear communication with relevant stakeholders.
  3. Assist clients with our online ordering platform and facilitate the order confirmation process.
  4. Manage the complete sales order cycle, including order entry, credit approval, invoicing, and documentation.
  5. Perform administrative tasks, including follow-ups on purchases and updates on back orders or special requests.
  6. Respond promptly to inquiries regarding our product range.
  7. Provide clients with straightforward quotes.
  8. Stay informed about current promotions and offerings.
  9. Handle customer service interactions via phone, email, fax, or mail.
  10. Work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  11. Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in a customer service role.

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage escalated customer service situations effectively.
  • Proficient in multitasking and working under pressure with attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Consultative selling skills and a proactive approach to learning.
  • Capability to handle a high volume of calls in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and other software applications.
