Our Opportunity

We are currently in search of a Client Support Specialist to become a part of our professional team in the Richmond, VA area.

Key Responsibilities

In this vital role within the Richelieu organization, the Client Support Specialist will primarily focus on delivering exceptional customer service by obtaining, analyzing, and verifying order information promptly. This position is crucial in maintaining high standards of service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Handle incoming calls from customers placing orders and provide sales quotes.
  • Collaborate closely with outside sales representatives regarding customer orders and quotes.
  • Assist customers in the showroom by addressing inquiries and facilitating order placements.
  • Encourage new or additional sales opportunities through phone interactions and face-to-face engagements in the showroom.
  • Research product solutions to assist customers in resolving field-project challenges.
  • Restock showroom displays and conduct cycle counts as necessary.

Position Requirements

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Experience in the building materials industry is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach.
  • Demonstrated drive and creativity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with AS400 is preferred but not essential.
  • High School diploma required; some college coursework is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
