Job Summary
As an Adjunct Faculty member at Dallas College, you will play a vital role in teaching students effectively in assigned classes and maintaining office hours for student consultation. This is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver high-quality instructional content to students, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.
• Participate in the evaluation of the instructional process and implement innovative strategies to continually improve learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and visions, promoting a culture of excellence and student success.
• Utilize technology to facilitate learning, access data, maintain records, generate reports, and communicate with others effectively.
• Meet professional assignments in accordance with the college's calendar and contractual obligations, ensuring timely completion of tasks and responsibilities.
• Comply with district policies, state and federal regulations, and the student code of conduct, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
• Participate in campus commencement exercises, attend required college meetings and activities, and engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills to support effective interaction between the college and external organizations, businesses, and community groups.
• Promote the college in the community through various marketing activities, showcasing the value of higher education and the college's mission.
• Complete required professional development training hours per academic year, staying current with best practices and industry trends.

Requirements
• Associate's degree or higher with three years of work-related experience or qualified industry certifications in the relevant field.
• One year of demonstrated teaching experience required.
• Official transcript will be required.
• Bilingual or multi-language skills preferred.
• Will be subject to a criminal background check and/or fingerprint check, as required by the college.

Working Conditions
• May be required to lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
