Faculty Adjunct Assistant Instructor

We are seeking experienced attorneys to serve as Faculty Adjunct Assistants to assist the Full-Time Professor in teaching Client Interviewing and Counseling or Negotiation and Conflict Management courses during the Fall 2024 semester.
About the RoleThe UNT Dallas College of Law is a public law school in downtown Dallas with a full-time day division and a part-time evening division. Our goals include widening access to legal education, providing an educational program focused on excellence in developing practice-related competencies, and creating opportunity for our students by keeping tuition and debt low.
Responsibilities- Assist the Full-Time Professor in teaching Client Interviewing and Counseling or Negotiation and Conflict Management courses.
- Lead small groups of students through interviewing or negotiation simulations.
- Grade the simulations and coach the students.
- J.D. degree from an accredited institution and licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and in good standing.
- Has practiced law for at least 5 years.
- Superb academic and professional qualifications.
- Practice experience that is sufficiently extensive and high quality to be a foundation for teaching in the College of Law's educational program.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve excellence in teaching and in guiding and mentoring professional formation of students.
- Commitment to the goals of the College of Law and its curricular and instructional methods and goals.
