Allegient Defense specializes in delivering technically focused services ranging from program oversight to sophisticated systems integration and engineering. We assist governmental entities and primary system integrators with our engineering and management acumen. Allegient Defense is currently seeking a Program Analyst to provide support to one of our governmental clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with government representatives to oversee and coordinate contracts and ongoing initiatives; establish systems for data gathering, reporting standards, and contract documentation; conduct research and compile statistics and data for contracts/projects; track contract/project timelines; create, manage, and maintain files for program compliance; prepare memoranda and reports with statistical summaries and comparisons; and monitor funding commitments, obligations, and expenditures for contracts/projects.
  • Assist in the formulation and upkeep of budgets; track commitments, obligations, and expenditures to ensure benchmarks are achieved; review invoices; develop forecasts regarding spending patterns; and prepare and review financial reports.
  • Develop and maintain databases; input and extract data; analyze, create, and present reports from databases; oversee recordkeeping procedures for accuracy, and compile data; review and prepare program reports and data.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, assist with arrangements for speakers; identify participants and support the coordination and communication related to registration information, including follow-up activities such as compiling and distributing meeting minutes/presentations.
  • Assist in the creation of fact sheets, brochures, charts, and multimedia presentations; proofread and edit documents; coordinate printing; prepare mailings; develop and draft letters, memos, and program reports.
  • Support Program Officers in the planning, management, and oversight of significant RDT&E projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of various reports covering budget status, forecast reports, and other management documents. Monitor active program budgets to ensure that program expenses are tracked monthly and that expenditures align with targets.
  • Prepare presentation materials for management reports.
  • Ensure accurate charging of program expenses, investigate discrepancies, and provide explanations and potential corrections.
  • Review contract financial reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Engage in overall project planning by reporting on project schedules and deliverables.
  • Proficiency in various computer applications such as MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Access, and MS SharePoint is essential.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in providing business and financial support.
  • Preferred experience with the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial system, with familiarity in the Material Management (MM) and Procurement for Public Sector (PPS) modules being highly desirable.
  • Experience with other Navy systems and software such as Computer Optimized Batch Reconciliation Application (COBRA), Program Budget Information System (PBIS), Standard Accounting and Reporting System (STARS), Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), and Contract and Grant Administration Management Information System (CAMIS) is highly desired.
  • Experience in providing organizational support to senior management.
  • Knowledge of government planning, forecasting, program budgeting, funding, execution, monitoring, and reporting against commitments, obligations, and expenditure benchmarks.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks to support and coordinate various projects simultaneously.
  • Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience is required.
  • Familiarity with the ERP Material Management (MM) and Procurement for Public Sector (PPS) modules is highly desired.
  • Possession of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance is required.

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
