Your Role
As a Program Manager at For People, you will be instrumental in the digital evolution of federal services. You will collaborate with a skilled team committed to refining data processes, boosting data analytics capabilities, and establishing strong data governance frameworks aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of Medicaid programs nationwide. This initiative will revolutionize how the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) utilizes data to inform policy decisions, streamline operations, and ultimately improve health outcomes for beneficiaries.

The base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $125,000 annually, accompanied by comprehensive benefits, including full coverage of Gold-tier employee health insurance premiums and annual profit sharing.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead a small, agile team in implementing a Medicaid data strategy. As the Program Manager, your duties will include:
- Promoting a collaborative and supportive team culture.
- Overseeing all facets of program delivery to align with CMS's objectives and deliverables.
- Serving as the primary liaison for CMS, managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring clear communication regarding project goals and progress.
- Identifying and addressing risks to the program's success, developing contingency plans as necessary.
- Managing program finances, including budgeting and forecasting, to meet financial targets.
- Ensuring compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and quality standards, maintaining necessary documentation and reporting.
- Providing program status updates and outcomes to senior leadership.

- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in program or project management, particularly with government contracts.
- Familiarity with government contracting processes, including the FAR and other relevant regulations.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building robust relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Some experience with data platforms, data strategies, or data analytics is preferred but not mandatory.
