Compensation:
$35+ per hour based on experience

Your Role:
A clinical registered dietitian serves as a vital resource within a skilled nursing facility, offering expertise and compassion in creating personalized nutrition plans for residents. Their extensive knowledge of dietary needs ensures that residents receive meals tailored to their specific health requirements, promoting overall wellness and supporting recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments for patients within required timelines, gathering and analyzing data based on evidence-based standards.
- Provide thorough documentation summarizing the nutrition care plan, including assessments, diagnoses, interventions, and goals.
- Participate in multidisciplinary care conferences and discharge planning activities, collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- Perform nutrition diagnoses by identifying issues and clarifying causes with the medical team.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition intervention plans, including enteral and parenteral nutrition.
- Review and approve therapeutic diets to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assess techniques that address the diverse needs of various populations, considering cultural, religious, and ethnic factors.
- Collaborate with dining service staff to ensure accuracy in diet prescriptions and high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of daily clinical activities as required.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new dietitians and DTRs, serving as a preceptor for dietetic students and interns.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- ServSafe Certification
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- CDR Card
- Bachelor’s degree
- BLS Certification
