Your Role:
A clinical registered dietitian is vital in a skilled nursing care facility, providing expertise and compassion in creating personalized nutrition plans for residents. Your profound knowledge of dietary needs ensures that residents receive tailored nourishment, enhancing their overall wellness and supporting their health.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments for patients within designated time frames, gathering and analyzing data based on evidence-based standards.
- Document nutrition care plans, including assessments, diagnoses, interventions, and goals, and monitor progress towards these goals.
- Participate in multidisciplinary care conferences and discharge planning, collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- Perform nutrition diagnoses by identifying issues and clarifying causes with the medical team.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition intervention plans, including enteral and parenteral nutrition.
- Review and approve therapeutic diets to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assess techniques considering the diverse needs of age-specific populations and cultural, religious, and ethnic factors.
- Collaborate with dining service staff to ensure accurate diet prescriptions and high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain precise records of daily clinical activities as required.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new dietitians and DTRs, serving as a preceptor for dietetic students and interns.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- ServSafe Certification
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- CDR Card
- Bachelor’s degree
- BLS Certification
