About the Role

As a Senior Account Executive, you'll be the media backbone of each account you work on. You should have a passion for securing media coverage and a network of trusted media sources. You'll engage a diverse range of media at a moment's notice, cater and deliver customized pitches to business and technology outlets, and apply your creativity and focus to each client and project. You'll work hard to generate outstanding results that gel into each client's unique PR and business goals.

Responsibilities
  1. Actively participate in client calls and meetings
  2. Support the account lead with day-to-day logistics
  3. Provide counsel to clients on good news and unexpected challenges
  4. Ensure the strategic value and highest quality of all client deliverables
  5. Communicate professionally both verbally and written
  6. Take direction from senior members of the team and maintain a coachable attitude
  7. Support and contribute to the strategic planning across accounts
  8. Execute all aspects of strategic media relations
  9. Drive proactive and strategic media coverage for clients
  10. Build new media relationships and engage media on a regular basis
  11. Secure and staff interviews, develop ideas, and move pitches from concept to coverage
  12. Contribute to overall account strategy
  13. Evaluate media coverage and inform media and pitch strategy
  14. Pitch, byline, and expert commentary writing
  15. Support programs such as speaker opportunities, podcast submissions, and award opportunities
  16. Oversee the development of social media content and use analytics insights to inform future social strategy
  17. Develop junior team members and seek opportunities to recruit talented people to join the team
  18. Contribute to agency growth and direction
  19. Set the positive tone to create a spirit of teamwork, enthusiasm, and quality

Requirements
  • 5+ years of agency experience with 1-2 years specifically in B2B tech
  • B2B tech experience required with cybersecurity, AI, and DevOps a plus
