Key Responsibilities
The HVAC Service Sales Representative plays a vital role in enhancing the growth and profitability of our HVAC Service division. The selected individual will focus on establishing and nurturing profitable service relationships with new clients. A primary emphasis will be placed on promoting renewable maintenance agreements as a foundational element for these connections. The representative will operate within a designated geographic area, collaborating with local branch teams and sales professionals.
Sales Strategy and Execution
This role involves a structured approach to identify, target, and qualify potential new clients. Leveraging market trends and networking opportunities is essential for uncovering new leads.
Responsibilities include:
- Engaging with prospective clients and arranging meetings.
- Building a network of referrals to identify new business opportunities.
- Conducting sales presentations to uncover key challenges faced by Facility Directors in managing HVAC systems.
- Creating urgency to address client needs and positioning Johnson Controls as the preferred provider.
- Presenting tailored solutions that highlight our service capabilities, focusing on renewable maintenance agreements and innovative digital services.
- Finalizing proposals and securing client commitments to our solutions.
- Facilitating customer onboarding meetings, addressing client concerns, and extending service agreements.
- Keeping management updated on sales progress and account status using our internal tools.
- Developing and executing territory marketing strategies aligned with our business objectives.
- Representing Johnson Controls with professionalism and integrity in all business dealings.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2-3 years of experience in progressive sales roles
Preferred:
- Strong technical aptitude with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional presentation skills, capable of engaging both individuals and groups.
- Experience in selling services and intangible products.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies and best practices.
- Bonus Qualifications: Knowledge of HVAC systems and relevant industry experience.
- Post-secondary education is advantageous.
