Key Responsibilities

Under general supervision, you will:

  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
  • Conduct detailed troubleshooting of systems.
  • Mentor mechanical technicians in building automation tasks.
  • Complete necessary project and service documentation accurately.
Technical Expertise

As part of your role, you will:

  • Diagnose and resolve complex control system malfunctions, utilizing extensive knowledge of various electronic and digital control systems.
  • Test and modify software in multiple programming languages.
  • Provide sketches of field changes for engineering corrections.
Collaboration and Training

You will work closely with:

  • Branch managers, service managers, and project managers to coordinate project activities.
  • Customers, providing training on electronic control systems and delivering necessary documentation.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A vocational school four-year program or an Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of industry experience or five years in servicing electronic and mechanical systems in HVAC.
  • Knowledge of HVAC control systems and facilities management systems.
  • Leadership skills to guide mechanics on non-complex building automation equipment.
  • PC proficiency and the ability to program HVAC-related software.
