Hospice Nurse - Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced hospice registered nurse to join our team at Liberty Health System. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $5.80/hour or $120,000/year, plus a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus. As a hospice nurse, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to patients and families facing terminal illness.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality care and documentation that meets reimbursement guidelines
  • Coordinating patient care with the interdisciplinary team
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and agency staff

Responsibilities:

  • Applying nursing theories and concepts to provide personalized care
  • Documenting care in accordance with reimbursement guidelines
  • Participating in IDT meetings and quality review

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in hospice care
  • Knowledge of home health and hospice care programs, including nurse's role as part of the patient care team
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to accept travel assignments, weekend/evening call, and holidays
