Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a per diem basis in Burlington.
Key Responsibilities- Apply nursing theories and concepts to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Care for and document patient information that meets reimbursement guidelines.
- Coordinate physical patient care with families, physicians, and the hospice team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and agency personnel at all levels.
- Participate in IDT meetings and quality reviews as scheduled.
- Current RN licensure and two years of clinical experience, with at least one year in hospice nursing preferred.
- Knowledge of home health and hospice care programs and the nurse's role in patient care teams.
- Working knowledge of nursing principles and practices according to state laws and agency policies.
- 12 hours of continuing education annually and CPR certification.
- Ability to accept travel assignments, weekend/evening, and holiday calls as needed.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience, location, and industry standards.
