About the Role- This is an exciting opportunity to join our innovative Child Focused Assertive Community Treatment Team, providing health and medical services to children with severe emotional disturbances.
- As a Compassionate Nurse Coordinator, you will oversee health and medical services, ensuring compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and agency standards.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- At least one year of related experience and/or training
- A valid North Carolina nursing license
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic health records
- A valid driver's license
In this role, you will:
- Assume primary responsibility for medication administration management and coordination
- Conduct ongoing assessments of medical needs throughout treatment
- Monitor client medical status while in placement, managing medical, dental, and chemical interventions
- Initiate client and family health and wellness education plans
- Attend meetings when medical input is beneficial or necessary
You will also participate in developing and maintaining medical policies and procedures, ensuring quality assurance measures on medication administration documentation and procedures.
Salary: $68,000 - $71,000 per year
