Role-Specific Attributes for a Milestone QSF Project Analyst:

In addition to the above, we seek a candidate who meets the unique requirements of our QSF Project Analyst position.

We are looking for a Project Analyst to assist with various data management and administrative tasks in a meticulous and precise manner. This role involves supporting Project Directors, Managers, and Coordinators with the daily data analysis necessary for the efficient distribution of payments across multiple projects.

We desire an individual who can translate data into a narrative—looking beyond mere numbers to extract actionable insights that are clearly communicated to the relevant teams for implementation. The contributions of the Project Analyst will be crucial to Milestone's growth, as they will enhance our overall processes and improve our clients' experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Qualified Settlement Fund ("QSF") administration team across all projects.
  • Analyze, interpret, prepare, and manipulate large volumes of financial data to determine eligible payments to personal injury plaintiffs, their attorneys, and the Court.
  • Interface with various operating systems to monitor real-time data and maintain status updates.
  • Collaborate with technology and treasury teams to facilitate ticket submissions and payment requests.
  • Coordinate with the QSF team to ensure accurate issuance and execution of payment submissions to attorneys, claimants, vendors, and other necessary parties.
  • Analyze key trends and provide insights to QSF Managers and Directors regarding potential gaps or initiatives related to QSF data management or maintenance.
  • Maintain detailed master reconciliations for assigned projects, outlining the financial narratives for individual plaintiffs.
  • Assist with data entry, account ledgering, and other administrative duties.
  • Uphold confidentiality and manage sensitive materials and information with professionalism.
  • Identify problems and propose effective solutions.
  • Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required (preferably in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field).
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Ability to be adaptable and respond swiftly to changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and administrative capabilities.
  • Experience managing deadlines and service level agreements.
  • Must be a self-motivated individual who can also collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • A strong sense of urgency and time management regarding all responsibilities.
  • Maintain a variety of specialized files while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in mass tort.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.
