Overview:

The eCommerce Marketing Specialist is accountable for the daily marketing operations aimed at enhancing the online shopping experience across various digital platforms to bolster online sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Embody and promote the core values of Mars, Inc. within the team.
  • Oversee the daily development and implementation of eCommerce marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager and team to strategize, plan, and operationalize efforts that maximize customer engagement and drive conversion rates.
  • Analyze customer data to understand site visitors' behaviors, including purchasing patterns and sensitivity to pricing and promotions.
  • Design a website experience that enhances search capabilities, product merchandising, and information, while generating user experience ideas and testing plans.
  • Initiate tests to support eCommerce strategies and gather insights from client interactions.
  • Create sales and performance dashboards, emphasizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing analytical recommendations.
  • Stay informed on digital marketing trends to suggest innovative strategies in the eCommerce sector.
  • Establish systems and processes to improve efficiency between the eCommerce site, call center, and operational teams.
  • Work alongside the eCommerce team and other departments to optimize order processing and fulfillment.
  • Assist in forecasting and budgeting sales in collaboration with the Senior Manager.
  • Coordinate with the formulary team for catalog expansion as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged periods of computer use.
  • Project deadlines may necessitate working beyond standard hours.
  • Must possess cognitive abilities for reasoning, memory, mathematics, and language proficiency in English.
  • Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions and solve complex problems.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity are required.
  • Moderate noise levels in the work environment, with potential exposure to pets.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in Marketing, eCommerce, Project Management, or Program Management is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and navigate ambiguity.
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms, particularly Salesforce Commerce Cloud, is preferred.
