DMS Management Solutions is an expanding accounting firm dedicated to providing comprehensive financial services to small and medium-sized enterprises. We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular bookkeeping tasks on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis, including payroll processing and bank reconciliations, primarily using QuickBooks software. Familiarity with additional software applications may be required.
  • Record journal entries and ensure accurate reconciliation of General Ledger accounts utilizing accrual accounting principles.
  • Manage bank deposits, wire transfers, and ACH transactions efficiently.
  • Support the collection of overdue Accounts Receivables.
  • Prepare and issue client invoices, process cash receipts, and manage vendor invoices and payments as needed.
  • Engage in marketing efforts to attract potential new clients. Strong communication skills are essential, as maintaining and enhancing client satisfaction is a critical aspect of this role.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • At least three years of relevant experience is desirable.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible work environment and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Capability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
