About the Role:

The Senior Inventory Accountant is a critical member of our finance team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial transactions and consolidations. As a key player in our General Ledger process, you will work closely with our inventory control teams to ensure that our financial records are up-to-date and compliant with GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review General Ledger Journal entries during the month-end close, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
  • Collaborate with inventory control teams to understand the full inventory cycle and provide support as needed.
  • Reconcile sub-ledger and GL for all inventory transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and maintain account analysis/reconciliation processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and adequate documentation.
  • Conduct monthly Balance sheet reviews for assigned areas, analyzing variances and resolving outstanding issues.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis support to client groups in finance and other functional areas.
  • Ensure that all warehouses comply with company standard operating procedures and perform SOX controls correctly.
