As a Technical Solutions Consultant (TSC), you will collaborate with Client Managers to deliver technical Pre-Sales support for our Fortune 500 clients across various sectors. Each day presents new challenges as our diverse offerings encompass Infrastructure Modernization, Multicloud Architecture, Security Transformation, and Digital Strategy, among others. With access to our Advanced Technology Center for briefings, training, workshops, demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts, you will achieve outstanding results for our clients.
Your Responsibilities:
The Technical Solutions Consultant (TSC) role will leverage your technical Pre-Sales expertise to serve our clients in the local market. Daily tasks will include engaging in customer sales meetings, delivering presentations, conducting whiteboard sessions, and performing custom technical design work. The TSC will collaborate with local Client Managers to foster customer relationships, partner with multiple Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and participate in technical training to continually enhance value for our clients. Expanding your technical knowledge is highly encouraged as you explore new areas of interest and stay at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies. This position may require travel of up to 25%.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical Pre-Sales systems engineering support
- Act as the technical liaison for all supported clients
- Assist in creating Statements of Work, Proof of Concepts, and Bill of Materials
- Design and architect network solutions
- Participate in business meetings with Account teams
- Estimate labor hours for Professional Services projects
- Candidates must reside in Northern CA.
- 8+ years of experience in Data Center environments and 2+ years in Pre-Sales roles.
- Experience in supporting enterprise network environments, preferably in larger Enterprise organizations.
- Familiarity with the technical aspects of storage, server, backup, and virtualization hardware, software, and architectures.
- Strong expertise in multiple disciplines, including Networking, Security, Routing/Switching, Data Center, Storage, Cloud, Server, and Compute.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong product demonstration, customer service, and presentation abilities.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.

- In certain states and localities, employers are required to provide a reasonable estimate of salary ranges. The current base salary range for this position is estimated to be between $150,000 and $180,000. Actual salary will depend on various factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. Salary ranges may vary in different geographic locations, and some positions may also qualify for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, not included in the base salary.
