Role Overview:

The Endpoint Support Engineer is responsible for recommending, developing, deploying, supporting, and standardizing all endpoint computing devices and peripheral hardware and software. A critical aspect of this role involves endpoint security and patch management. Candidates must possess experience in a mixed operating system environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team setting are essential.
  • Establishes global images, including localized hardware and software configurations.
  • Develops efficient processes for setting up hardware for new hires and replacement equipment.
  • Troubleshoots complex software issues, integrations, and conflicts on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recommends and develops global hardware and software standards.
  • Implements security and policy enforcement through automated tools and scripting.
  • Creates automated routines for hardware deployment.
  • Supports and implements asset management systems.
  • Maintains standard management platforms such as SCCM, Intune, PXE, WSUS, and Jamf.
  • Provides training and documentation for Desktop Technicians and end-users to ensure software compliance.
  • Establishes a global standard for training environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with over 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with effective time management skills.
  • Customer-service orientation is a must.
  • Consistent work hours are expected.
  • Experience in a large global environment is required.
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Self-motivated individual who actively seeks to enhance their skill set.
  • Demonstrates technical proficiency through industry certifications.
  • Willingness to be on-call and available, including weekends, and participate in a team on-call rotation.
  • Collaborates with other IT and software development teams to ensure seamless technology processes and support integration.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with networking topologies, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, PXE, and Wireless technologies.
  • Experience with SCCM infrastructure is required; familiarity with JAMF and Intune is preferred. Proficiency in scripting technologies such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash is essential.
  • Industry certifications such as MCTS – SCCM or equivalent are required; CCT, CCA, CCE, CJA are preferred.
