Position Overview:

We are actively seeking a skilled and experienced Permanent Senior Estimator Product Engineer to become an integral part of our team in the manufacturing sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified professional to assume a significant role within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Estimator Product Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing the product development lifecycle from initial concept to market introduction, ensuring all products align with our rigorous standards for quality, cost efficiency, and innovation.
  • Engineering product solutions that fulfill customer requirements while strengthening our competitive edge.
  • Executing comprehensive product evaluations to verify functionality, durability, and safety, which involves creating test plans, conducting tests, analyzing outcomes, and implementing necessary modifications.
  • Generating precise cost estimates for product manufacturing, considering materials, labor, equipment, and overhead expenses.
  • Collaborating closely with various departments such as sales, marketing, and production to ensure products are designed and manufactured to meet customer expectations and corporate goals.
  • Continuously assessing industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements to guide our product development initiatives.
  • Providing technical mentorship and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Estimator Product Engineer position should possess:
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in product development, design, and testing within the manufacturing field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in producing accurate cost estimates for product manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of engineering design principles and manufacturing methodologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a creative and innovative mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating within a team and conveying complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements.
  • An analytical approach, with meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to make informed decisions based on data.
