Senior Electrical Cost Estimator

Position Overview:
We are in search of a motivated and results-oriented Senior Electrical Cost Estimator to enhance our expanding team in California. This position will address client requirements across all market sectors in the region. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop estimates, studies, analyses, and evaluations at all stages of project development.
  • Deliver conceptual estimates, detailed quantity take-offs, change order assessments, and value engineering solutions as required.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of all documentation and create comprehensive cost estimates/models that align with the client's project and strategic objectives.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables for clients by adhering to QA/QC protocols.
  • Communicate effectively using clear and concise methods suitable for project goals.
  • Proactively research, solicit, and establish sources/vendors to maintain the accuracy of cost information.
  • Support business development initiatives by fostering and maintaining client relationships through the creation of cost exhibits for proposals, meetings, and presentations.

Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in electrical cost estimating across vertical construction/engineering projects, including conceptual estimating, take-offs, change order reviews, and value engineering solutions.
  • Ability to comprehend and accurately interpret construction documents at all design levels.
  • Proficient in On Screen Takeoff (OST) software or similar industry tools.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
