**Key Qualifications:

- Proficient in both Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and Lump Sum bids, as well as conceptual estimating for ground-up, renovation, and tenant improvement projects.

- Established connections with clients and subcontractors in the relevant regions.

- A Bachelor's degree in a related field.

- A total of 10 years of professional experience in the construction industry.

QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience totaling 10 years in the construction sector. Field experience is advantageous. The ability to prepare complex proposals with minimal oversight is essential. Candidates should be detail-oriented, highly organized, and focused, with a comprehensive understanding of estimating techniques, engineering disciplines, and sub-trade requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the planning and management of estimating activities for designated construction projects, including the preparation, interpretation, and presentation of estimates.
  • Review proposal specifications and drawings, participate in pre-estimate meetings, and analyze requests for proposals to ascertain the scope of work and necessary contents of the estimate.
  • Provide both conceptual and final estimating input on complex projects.
  • Assess labor and construction equipment costs.
  • Prepare precise quantity takeoffs and material pricing.
  • Ensure the maintenance of all working documents and data.
  • Track awarded contracts as necessary, which may involve estimating and pricing additional work items, change orders, credits, and procuring materials for major work items.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

The salary range for the Senior Cost Estimator position is between $150,000 and $200,000, commensurate with experience.
