Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough analysis of blueprints to ensure accuracy and completeness of projects.
  2. Assist in the bidding process by compiling and supporting pricing efforts.
  3. Perform takeoffs, layout, and marking of drawings to ascertain bid quantities.
  4. Identify and calculate fixture, device, and equipment quantities, including power requirements.
  5. Utilize software to calculate wire sizing and voltage drop percentages.
  6. Employ takeoff software to deliver precise counts and measurements.
  7. Manage and track Bid Invitations while helping to prioritize the bid pipeline.
  8. Review and dispatch drawings to suppliers for quotations, ensuring organized filing of received quotes.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Blue Beam and experienced in electrical systems.
  • Strong ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Advanced skills in Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience in costing and estimating.
  • Knowledge of conduit, wire, and panel specifications is essential for this role.
