Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Hotel Manager to lead the operations and financial activities of our hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding the asset, creating and implementing the culture of HEI Hotels and Resorts on the property level, and ensuring customer satisfaction through consistent delivery of product quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer-Driven Hotel Operations: Create and maintain a customer-driven hotel with a customer-keeping vision that inspires hotel associates to do their best.
  • Property Inspections: Tour and visually inspect property on a daily basis to monitor property condition, cleanliness, cost control, and quality of product and service throughout the hotel.
  • Travel and Meetings: Travel to attend corporate meetings, sales trips, and serve on committees such as Research, Development, and Standards committee.
  • Human Resources Support: Aid Human Resources with associate issues following HEI Hotel and Resorts' policies, including interviewing, hiring, training, recommending performance evaluations, resolving problems, and providing open communication.
  • Community Affairs and Public Image: Participate in community affairs and maintain a positive public image for the property and HEI Hotels and Resorts.
  • Sales and Revenue Management: Meet with potential and current clients to promote the hotel, and actively involve in the Sales and Revenue Management function, including following HEI Key Meeting SOPs, involvement in Group site inspections, and review results from ESS/MPSI Measurement Tool.
  • Financial Objectives: Create and execute the financial objectives of the hotel, and guide other members of the Executive Committee, Management, and staff to make sound business decisions.
  • Attendance and Availability: Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of management experience, preferably in both Rooms and Food and Beverage.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and move throughout the hotel property and continuously perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
