We are seeking a highly motivated Event Staff Member to join our team at the Mullins Center. As an essential part of the Guest Services Team, you will play a key role in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.

Salary and Benefits

This hourly wage position offers a competitive salary range of $15-$17 per hour, making it an attractive opportunity for those looking to earn a steady income while working in a dynamic environment.

In addition to a competitive salary, this position comes with a range of benefits, including access to our 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching program. Part-time employees also receive one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.

Job Description

As an Event Staff Member, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional guest service by ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Your duties may include:

  • Preparing assigned sections for guests by wiping down seats, checking for potential hazards, and reporting any issues to a supervisor.
  • Welcome guests with a warm smile and helpful attitude when gates open.
  • Scan event tickets to ensure the proper ticket is being used to gain entry.
  • Assist fans in locating their ticketed seats.
  • Be alert and proactive to potential hazards and report incidents when they occur.
  • Monitor assigned areas for issues and opportunities to make lasting memories for our fans.
  • Respond to guest concerns/complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Assist guests in ADA accessible seating sections.
  • Enforce all building policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests.
  • Manage foot traffic flow during large crowds.
  • Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for alcohol purchases.
  • Be knowledgeable about arena emergency evacuation plans in case of an emergency.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Holiday, weekend, and night availability.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Experience in hospitality or entertainment is preferred.
  • A passion for helping others and providing excellent customer service.
  • The ability to stand for long periods.
  • A positive attitude and strong communication skills.
