Position Overview: The Lead Concessions Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in collaborating with the Concessions Operations team to uphold exceptional standards in guest satisfaction, safety, and financial outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience in food and beverage management, demonstrating a talent for coaching and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehend all menu items, product selections, packaging, and pricing strategies.
- Ensure all concession areas are well-displayed and stocked with merchandise.
- Implement and uphold security, safety, and sanitation protocols.
- Develop operational plans to maintain optimal staffing levels and ensure adequate product availability for events.
- Adhere to the preventative maintenance schedule established by the Director of Concessions.
- Hold team members accountable for delivering outstanding guest service.
- Maintain high-quality standards consistently.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, and team members.
- Solicit and act on feedback from clients and guests to enhance operations.
- Address and resolve any guest service issues within the department.
- Execute menus, promotions, and programs as directed by the Director of Operations.
- Enforce responsible alcohol service policies.
- Verify opening and closing inventories accurately.
- Complete daily reporting promptly.
- Compile and finalize department reports at month-end.
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines as outlined in training materials.
- Forecast and schedule team members to meet operational demands.
- Oversee cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure all areas are fully stocked and operationally ready.
- Provide training on the current POS system and concession equipment.
- Conduct regular meetings to maintain open communication between management and staff.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members in line with company standards.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail.
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management is preferred.
- Strong computer skills.
- Understanding of financial principles.
- Passion for hospitality, food, and retail.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
